Crowborough IV Lost to Acorns Copthorne Squash Club III in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 2 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Steven Ballard winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 143 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Jake Sim-Baskar.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Jake Sim-Baskar, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Jake Sim-Baskar, who over-turned a 600 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
Home string 4 played his 13th game of the half season and is therefore ineligible. This means the 5th string is also ineligible and the match result is reversed. Crowborogh -10, Acorns Copthorne +8
