Match Report Press Report

Dunnings S and RC IV Lost to East Grinstead I in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 42 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Roger Bean, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 129 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Justin Bishop.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 3 string, Joe Collier, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Joe Collier, who over-turned a 329 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
