Littlehampton I Beat Arun L.C. II.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 17 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Jo Bridgeman winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 126 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Ashley Squires.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 2 string, Ashley Squires, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

If the Home No. 1 player, Phil Stacey, had not had to withdraw after 4 game(s) the result could have been closer.
Home string 5 and Away string 2 played as unranked players and have been added retrospectively. They both played in the bottom team of their clubs so there is no infringement. Away string 2 needs to add his ES number to the LMS.
