Peter Simmonds is ranked and played at the appropriate position
Arun L.C. II Beat Storrington II in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 7 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 105 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Peter Simmonds.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Timothy Holbrook, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Timothy Holbrook, who over-turned a 898 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
Home string 4 played as an unranked player and has been added retrospectively. He played in the bottom team of the club so there is no infringement.
